Ka Enchong Zapanta extends services to East Villa Homeowners Association

Computer Shop Owners in Antipolo City Should Download this Encoded Copy of City Ordinance 2006-245

(Public Information) Computer Shop owners in Antipolo City should download and review this City Ordinance regulating the operation of Computer/Internet Shops, Videogames Stations, Billiard Halls and other similar establishments. Part of the said ordinance is to prohibit Internet Cafe and Computer Shops offering internet access, 200 meter radius away from schools, churches and government offices

We appeal to the Sangguniang Panlungsod to amend or modify the said ordinance, because Internet is Information Technology, and Information Technology is the future. Job seekers use Internet for employment local and abroad. Government agencies are now starting to be online like SSS or GSIS and the like. OFWs and their families here in the city keep in touch using the Internet. Students use computers and internet for their research works and school projects. Other Local Government Units even provide free WIFI access to promote the Internet and Information Technology.

Computer Shops are modern day I.T. Heroes. The public is able to access Internet, print resumes, and learn computers through COMPUTER SHOPS at a minimal cost without their expense of buying their own computers not to mention High Cost Software Licenses which is not affordable by the general public, cost of printers and ink, and finally the cost of Broadband connection monthly.

We believe that it will be the General Public who will suffer more if Internet and said Computer shops offering beneficial services will not be available within the said vicinities. And we believe that Internet Access should be promoted rather than deprive the public the future of communication. Click here to download the Encoded Copy of Ordinance 2006-245
