Office of the Vice Mayor
Worked out P25,000 worth of medicines from Unilab, successfully For the second time, the Office of the Vice Mayor headed by their Administrative Officer worked out medicines from Unilab, to be distributed for free to some misfortuned citizens of Antipolo. The first distribution was worth P40,000 which was distributed during the 4th quarter of 2001. "We (OVM) may not have funds, nor even budget for this kind of projects, but we regularly see to it that we deliver such accomplishments not for any other reasons, but for the sole purpose that some of our people need medicines, and unfortunately most of them cannot afford," the Administrative Officer stressed out. "Sa sakit, walang mayaman o mahirap ... dahil kung iyong mayaman nga nauubos ang bulsa sa pagbili ng gamot, e di lalo na iyong mahirap, and I will personally stick to that perspective." "But we owe this to United Laboratories of Shaw Boulevard, to their management, staffs and whole business structure. We would like to thank all of them for being so nice to the City of Antipolo!" The medicines is primarily composed of antibiotics, vitamins and those which are common to the ailing sectors of our city. Email this article to your colleague.
